"I am, I am the deputy manager on duty..." A middle-aged man heard that Qiu Lingshan was with the police and hurried over to her. "It was I who called the police..."

"Let him come in!" Old Master Zhao said.

"Yes, Master!" Elder Bi said at once, then made a gesture of invitation to Zhao Guangyin. "Young master, please come in!"

Zhao Guangyin nodded and said to Elder Bi, "Elder Bi, I have a most important matter to discuss with my father, one that concerns the future development of our Zhao family. Please do not let anyone come near!"

Upon hearing Zhao Guangyin's words, Elder Bi's expression turned solemn. Although he answered directly to Old Master Zhao's command, Zhao Guangyin was after all the young master, and Elder Bi still respected him greatly. Since Zhao Guangyin said the matter was of great importance, whether for the sake of the Zhao family or out of duty to Old Master Zhao, he must guard this door well and allow no one else to approach.

Zhao Guangyin walked into Old Master Zhao's villa. At that moment Old Master Zhao was sitting in the reception hall at the main entrance, dressed in a white training suit, still holding a cup of fragrant tea in his hand, every inch the immortal sage.

And so Old Master Zhao could only pretend not to know of the matter, never mentioning it openly and never allowing Zhao Qibing to return to the Zhao family, and the Yu family had indeed found no fault in it.

"It happened like this..." Zhao Guangyin hastily recounted the whole course of how Zhao Qibing and the Medicine King had bluffed and cajoled Yu Huoxing of the Yu family into handing over the Qi Gathering Pill.

"What! The Qi Gathering Pill! That thing has really appeared!" Upon hearing Zhao Guangyin's words, Old Master Zhao rose激 to his feet in excitement. He was a steady man, and it was hard for anything to move him so, but today he could not hold himself back!

"Yes, this child Zhao Qibing has had no easy time of it, and his filial devotion to you is utterly sincere! Zhao Guangyin was of course exaggerating the danger somewhat. Even if Elder Yu had been furious at the time, not to mention that he still needed the Medicine King to cure his poison, even had he not been poisoned he could never have rashly laid hands on the Zhao family's illegitimate son!
