The classrooms of Senior Three Class Five and Senior Three Class Nine were not far apart, and with every class holding quiet self-study, Shen Yushu's cry of "Shield Brother" sounded especially abrupt. Tang Yun sat by the window facing the corridor, and with all the windows open for the summer, the shout reached her ears distinctly.

She was keenly sensitive to that peculiar name Shen Yushu used for Wei Zhao, and the moment she looked up she saw Wei Zhao had taken the camera and was photographing Gu Mengyao and Shen Yushu.

Tang Yun frowned. She had never quite worked out whether Gu Mengyao and Shen Yushu really liked Wei Zhao, or whether only one of them liked him, or whether neither of them did at all.

Liu Xinwen heard Shen Yushu's voice as well. She poked her head out of her classroom, saw Wei Zhao taking pictures of Gu Mengyao and Shen Yushu, and hurriedly sent a text message to Tang Yun.

Tang Yun received Liu Xinwen's text and felt irritated. She replied that she knew, slipped the phone back into her pocket, and bent her head over her book.

The college entrance exams were only a few months away, and she had to study hard. Being close to Wei Zhao was all very well, but she could not let it interfere with her studies. If she failed to get into university, the gap between her and Wei Zhao would only grow wider. Tang Yun understood that道理 perfectly well.

Liu Xinwen saw that after that one reply Tang Yun went silent again. She waited a while longer and still heard nothing, so she could not resist leaving her classroom to go find Tang Yun.

Gu Mengyao and Shen Yushu both spotted Liu Xinwen, but Wei Zhao had his back turned and could not see her.

"Sister Yaoyao, someone is running off to tattle!" Shen Yushu said.

"Don't say that. This hardly counts as tattling." Gu Mengyao said so, but she felt nervous inside. Would Tang Yun come over in a moment?

But so what if she came? She had done nothing shameful. Thinking of that, Gu Mengyao felt at ease again.

Liu Xinwen arrived at Tang Yun's window. Tang Yun had not expected Liu Xinwen to come in person and felt annoyed. Let them take their pictures, what did it have to do with them? Getting mixed up in it would only be more awkward, as if they were keeping watch over Wei Zhao.

"But I am not finished yet?" Shen Yushu was displeased, but then she thought better of it and ran to Wei Zhao's side. Tang Yun stood on Wei Zhao's right and Shen Yushu stood on his left. "Perfect, I have not taken one with Shield Brother yet?"
